Day 1 - Part 1 : Let's live like kings ! - Touch Korea Tour

Ok this will be a very looooong post because I speak too much -_-' Just take some time, try to enjoy, and leave many comments please ~

Location: Seoul (Lotte Hotel/KTO office) - Icheon

First wake-up in Korea! Wahoouuu am I really in Korea? I am not dreaming? Woke up early but I was so excited that I prepared myself happily and without feeling tired at all (it CAN happen when you’re excited, yes…).
The view from my room.. SEOUL !

I was so fast that I was the first one in the lobby, where all of us where planning to meet before eating breakfast.

Erry showed up a little later. We waited a little more but after seeing that the two others weren’t coming, we decided to start having breakfast and to wait for them eating. Turns out Michelle was late and didn’t see us in the buffet (yes, that’s a French word ^^) so she ate alone T_T and Tim don’t eat breakfast at all ~ xD

Am I talking too much? I just want to say all the things I have in my heart, I want to show you which events or actions were important for me and how I lived my trip. So I’m sorry if it’s long ^^
Donc désolé si c’est long ^^

So here it is: I’m sorry Erry and Dondré, but I have to expose you two. Ricky, if you’re reading this, please stop reading, this is for Erry and Dondré’s sake. I just have to say this to you guys because I feel betrayed :P *maknae’s feeling*

The three of us were happily taking our breakfast, and then I brought the “Ricky’s subject” on the table
Me: You guys saw that it is said on the handbook of TKT that we will have Ricky Kim as a leader? Is this real? *super excited*
Dondré&Erry: Yes… we saw that… *indifferent*
Me: You guys know who Ricky Kim is, right ?
Dondré&Erry: …
Me: O.o You don’t know ? You don’t watch variety shows at all? *variety show lover’s feeling getting hurt*
So I told them all I know about Ricky and the character he had on Dream Team Season 2…
Where the crime began...

*super heureuse*
Dondré&Erry : Oui… on a vu ça…*indifférents*

Then when we met Ricky, Dondré kept stealing my knowledge about Ricky as if it was his *glaring at him* He was like “Oh so Ricky, you come from Hawai right?” (My knowledge stolen) and “So on Dream Team you have to compete against another team right? And you win often right?” (My knowledge again…) That’s okay Dondré, if it’s you, I can forgive -_-‘ Haha.

The meeting was at 8am in the Lotte Hotel Lobby and as usual these days, Dondré and I were the first one in the lobby, waiting for the others. VIDEO CONTEST WINNERS ARE PUNCTUAL! :D Yay!
And then we realized that there were sooo many people with us. It was like an invasion of the Fun Tour staff in the hotel lobby. Cameras were already shooting us. They showed us our airport interview from the day before, and I was so depressed seeing my ugly face T_T

This morning I was wearing the cap I bought in Paris for people to know that I was French! :D But Erry told me that we couldn’t see my beautiful face (Erry’s word, I’m not saying myself that I am pretty hehe) so I took it off.

Because the others were late we were told to get on the bus first. When they finally got on the bus, we departed for KTO’s office to have an introduction of our tour! It was my first time meeting Tim: oh my god cute Australian accent 큰일 났다 !

We got into KTO’s office and everyone was standing in a line around us and clapping for us, sooooo sweet! They gave us some drinks with weird taste like corn… but it was actually really good! And then our leader arrived!!! Whouuuuuu I was so excited. And as I promised to my team mates, I pointed at Ricky telling them that he was the tall and handsome guy getting into the room (so that they will recognize him and not look dumb not knowing who he is *Exposure time*). Sorry guys…

Go go to Icheon ~ In the bus, Ricky came next to us and started to talk with us to make it less awkward. He suggested to make a chant for Fun Team and after 5 minutes of thinking, we came up with a really awesome chant with greetings in all our languages. The funny thing was that we were all from different countries but Tim and Dondré were both speaking English and Erry and Michelle were both speaking bahasa -_-‘ I was the only one safe with French. ^^ Finally Tim used his Australian accent as a distinction and Michelle spoke in Chinese.

We arrived at the filming location. Then we saw that a lot more than two cameras were here to film us. Just US you know? As if we were some celebrities *omg I feel important :P* We first filmed the opening and Ricky 오빠 did all the talk when we were just standing still, smiling at the cameras awkwardly. He asked us questions without warning and we were a little taken aback (okay, maybe just me… but I’m not good at improvisation, I never was!).

After, we met a man who was doing pottery for like 40 years… am I right guys? Is it more or less? Anyway… we got to try pottery but not all of us could do it so we did rock paper, scissors to decide who would do it first.

Here is a really funny event! We did rock, paper, scissors in team of two to make it easier and faster. I was against Erry. We kept doing the same sign and in the same order. Like: rock, scissors, paper, rock, scissors, paper… And then I decided to change the order because it could go on like this forever and we were already bursting out of laughter because we looked so silly. The problem was… Erry changed at the same time, and we changed the order with the same sign. Like after rock, instead of doing scissors, we did rock again. Oh my god, how are we going to do??? Erry stop copying me!

In the end I won (after 10 minutes of fight with Erry), and Tim and I won Ricky, and then I won Tim! Yay! Here start the incredible stories of the game master: Tiphany! :D So I get to try pottery first. Do you know the movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze? There’s this scene with the potter’s wheel when he’s standing behind Demi Moore… Ok so I don’t know whose idea it was but they send Dondré to do Patrick Swayze behind me Kkk Really funny guys!

I did pretty well! Then it was Ricky’s turn. I don’t even need to say anything about this, he completely messed the pottery. Dondré was the last to do it. Because I did well and Ricky don’t (ㅋㅋ) I had to give some pieces of advice to Dondré to make it beautiful. Because he took consideration of my advice, he did a good job too ~ Just follow me guys… I will make you win :P

After this funny experience, we got to eat. Yay, we were quite hungry! But before, mission time! Mission man was getting ready with his costume and when we entered the restaurant, he hit the gong *BOOOOINNNG* This was how we know it was mission time.
Mission Man !

Yay, on avait faim !

Icheon is famous for rice! This was the rice served to the king during the Joseon area. Isn’t it cool? We’re going to eat a king rice. Waaaaaaw. Of course the mission is about rice. We had 5 bowls in front of us and we had to guess which one was Icheon’s rice. Okay so first: why are there beans in a bowl? It’s not even rice guys! I hesitated a long time between n°3 and 5 because they were both good. In the end I stood in front of n°5 because he was the prettiest rice hehe.

But then start the “Ricky corruption”. He kept on eating the rice of n°3 and even the cameraman started eating rice n°3. I was getting more and more confused. Is this a sign to reveal that n°3 is the right rice? Are they just playing around? Then Ricky said the sentence that made me change my mind “Are you sure that you don’t want to change” while eating rice n°3. Ah… really, I should have know earlier this face he always makes when he jokes around… I stood in front of n°3 and Michelle fell for it too. In the end n°5 rice was the right one.

And here comes the “아저씨” (Ajeoshi) joke. I was so mad at Ricky to joke around when it was about my first Mapae (I will explain what a Mapae is in a while). I knew that in Korea, girls call older boys 오빠 (Oppa) and they are really happy when a girl calls them like this. In the reverse, I knew that the term Ajeoshi is used by young girls to call out rather old men. So to punish Ricky Oppa, I shouted “Ajeoshi” at him, as if I was really mad at him (how can you be mad at him when he smiles at you saying he’s sorry?). I told him he would be an Ajeoshi for me as of now and my joke worked because he was pleased hehe.

We finally get to eat Icheon’s special rice meal! I was sooooo delicious. It was the first time eating a real Korean meal (like, made in korea and not on the streets) so I was very happy and amazed by everything. There was this moment when I asked Ricky Oppa water (I was sitting next to him) and he took the water pot and looked at me with a serious face “Am I Oppa then?” I acted like I was thinking about it and told him that it was quite a good deal. I’m really weak, right? But he was so nice… :’(

The atmosphere started to be less awkward as we spoke all together during lunch. I will write about the afternoon in another post because this one is like already super long ^^
