Day 3 : Part 2 - Visiting the beautiful drama scenery of Jeju on the Olle-gil - Touch Korea Tour

Location: Jeju Olle-gil 

Ok so earlier we got to ride the “We got married” kayak and we did a ridiculous contest on a black beach *short version*.

Plus tôt dans la journée, nous avons expérimenté le kayak de star (We got Married en référence) et fait un concours loin d’être équitable sur la plage de sable noir.

When we get back to the bus, as I predicted, my shoes were filled with sand, so I had to take them off and to get rid of all the sand. It was as if I had taken all the beach with me -_-‘ Always taking care of us, Eomma came in the bus the hands filled with mandarin, one of the most famous things in Jeju. It’s called Halla-bong (한라봉).

De retour vers le bus, comme je le prévoyais, mes chaussures étaient remplies de sable, j’ai donc dû les retirer et les vider. On aurait dit que j’avais emmené toute la plage avec moi  -_-‘ Prenant toujours soin de nous, Eomma est arrivé dans le bus les mains pleines de mandarines, une des spécialités de Jeju. Celles-ci s’appellent Halla-bong (한라봉).

Fun Tour video teaser is out !!

Hey guys ! We've been waiting for this moment forever *exagerating again*, and finally, the time has come for the Fun Tour videos to be out ! 
Hé les gens ! On attendait ce moment depuis toujours *exagère encore*, et c'est enfin là, le moment est venu pour les vidéos du Fun Tour d'être mises en ligne !

The first teaser, came out today. It's really awesome ! I'm at a loss for words, really. They did such a great job, I can't wait for all the episodes to come out !
Le premier teaser est sorti aujourd'hui. Il est hyper cool ! J'ai même pas assez de mots pour décrire à quel point il est bien. Ils ont vraiment fait du bon boulot, j'ai hâte de voir les épisodes !

Ok first you have to know that this day – which have probably been one of the most wonderful day of this trip – will be reaaaaally long to write. It may even take 6 posts for me to be able to tell you everything about this day. But don’t worry, every post will be amazing, as always !

Tout d’abord, je voudrais vous avertir que cette journée, qui a probablement été l’une des plus magnifiques journées du séjour (ok, elles l’ont toutes été) va être trèèèèèès longue à décrire, donc ça prendra au moins 6 notes je pense. Ne vous en faites pas, chaque note sera magique, eh oui !

(Big) Annoucement : Two babies will soon be born in the Fun Tour family

Ok, that may not be babies... that may even be something VERY different. But that's something that we (the girls of fun tour) were expecting so much, and I'm sure you guise were expecting it too. 
Let me clear this for you : you wanted to know better the men of the fun team ? You wanted to know what was the point of view of an American and an Australian coming to Korea ? *Ok, maybe that's me who wanted to know these things* 
Anyway... here is the creation, Mesdames et Messieurs (yes, that's French, that's more classy) of Dondré and Tim's blog :D 
Ok, ce n'est peut-être pas des bébés... et c'est même peut-être loin d'en être. Mais c'est quelque chose que nous (les filles du fun tour) attendions avec impatience, et je suis sûre que vous aussi, mes amis, vous l'attendiez.

Day 2 - Part 4 : Surrounded by green tea in Jeju Island - Touch Korea Tour

Location : Daheeyeon green tea field - Haerakwon (diner) - Haevichi hotel & Resort Jeju - Jeju beach + Family Mart

Because the zipline is on the green tea field, and that we came here especially to see these fields, we had the opportunity to take an open-car (you know these car made especially for tourist *hehe that’s us*). We were driving *ok not us, one of the renting car driver* all around the fields and Ricky suddenly took the role of the guide. *Get ready, here comes the green tea joke*

Parce que la Tyrolienne est placée sur les champs de thé vert, et qu’on est surtout venu pour voir ces champs-là, on a eu l’opportunité de prendre une mini-voiture (vous savez, ces véhicules ouverts pour les tourists *héhé c’est nous ça*). On se baladait au milieu des champs de thé et Ricky a d’un coup décidé de prendre le rôle du guide. *Tenez-vous prêts, c’est ici qu’apparaît la blague du thé vert*

Day 2 - Part 3 - Fly and think hard - Touch Korea Tour

Location : Jeju Island - Daheeyeon Green Tea garden

Our first destination in Jeju was the green tea field with our first mission of the day waiting for us. And I have to say…that’s an awesome mission we had! When we arrived there, we saw so many things. At first, you can only see this green which spread over the whole place. This green is more beautiful than grass or corn or anything, that’s green tea leaves. I never saw this anywhere. Then, out of nowhere, a sign say “Dogland”. I could barely hear dogs barking, I guess they were really tired because there was really a LOT of dog kennel.

Day 2 - Part 2 : Having a good laugh in Jeju Island - Touch Korea Tour

Location : Wonju airport - Jeju island

Before entering the restaurant, we heard « Fantastic Baby » by Big bang in a car. I didn’t speak much about it in the previous posts but I realized you know you’re in Korea when you hear kpop everywhere. There were k-pop songs in each shop in Myeongdong and my heart felt so light listening to them. My passion was surrounding me, I could hear Korean language in every mouth around me, I could read Korean on every sign, I could listen to k-pop without using my Ipod or computer, I could see idol’s faces on every poster on the streets. It really felt like home, a second home.

Day 2 - Part 1 : Olympics gangsters in Pyeongchang - Touch Korea Tour

Location : Pyeongchang jumping ski rope - Alpensia Resort - Wonju

The alarm clock rang around 7am. I’m quite lucky, I’m really fast when it comes to prepare myself in the morning. The same can’t be said for Erry and Michelle. First, they need a phone call from the front desk to wake them up, otherwise they don’t hear the alarm clock (yes, a phone call, you have to resort to drastic measures with them haha^^). Furthermore, they need at least one hour to prepare themselves. I only need 30 minutes, what did you do in the morning girls? ^^

Le réveil a sonné vers 7h. Je suis assez chanceuse, je suis assez rapide quand il s’agit de se préparer le matin. On ne peut par contre pas dire la même chose pour Erry et Michelle… Premièrement elles ont besoin que l’accueil de l’hôtel leur passe un coup de fil pour les réveiller, parce qu’elles n’entendent pas leur réveil (oui, un coup de fil, il faut utiliser les grands moyens avec elles haha^^). Ensuite, elles ont besoin d’au moins une heure pour se préparer. J’ai seulement besoin de 30 minutes, qu’est-ce que vous fabriquer le matin les filles ?^^

The crew of Fun Tour - Touch Korea Tour

It's the right time to introduce our amazing crew that worked on the Fun Tour. Most of them were on the other tour as well (they must have been tired T_T).
They were really a lot, so I'm not going to introduce them all, I'm sorry for those I couldn't put here... *please forgive me* 
C'est maintenant le bon moment pour vous présentez le merveilleux staff qui a travaillé dur sur le Fun Tour. Ils ont presque tous fait les autres tours aussi (ils ont dû être fatigués T_T). 
Comme ils étaient vraiment beaucoup, je ne vais pas tous les présenter, je suis désolé pour ceux que je n'ai pas pu mettre ici... *s'il vous plait pardonnez-moi*

Day 1 - Part 2 : Becoming a monk is not an easy job - Touch Korea Tour

Location: Pyeongchang (Woljeongsa Temple - Alpensia Resort)

Ok so in the morning we went to Icheon to eat the super rice of the king. We did our first mission (where I lost) and we had our first Korean meal. After lunch, we rode the bus again to go to Pyeongchang, the city where will be held the winter Olympics of 2018. Isn’t it awesome?

Ok donc le matin on est allé à Icheon pour manger le super riz du roi. On a fait notre première mission (où j’ai perdu) et on a eu notre premier repas coréen. Après le déjeuner, on a repris le bus pour aller à Pyeongchang, la ville qui va accueillir les Jeux Olympiques d’hiver de 2018. Est-ce que c’est pas énorme ?

Day 1 - Part 1 : Let's live like kings ! - Touch Korea Tour

Ok this will be a very looooong post because I speak too much -_-' Just take some time, try to enjoy, and leave many comments please ~

First wake-up in Korea! Wahoouuu am I really in Korea? I am not dreaming? Woke up early but I was so excited that I prepared myself happily and without feeling tired at all (it CAN happen when you’re excited, yes…).

Day 0 : Here I am, Korea ! - Touch Korea Tour

Location : Incheon Airport - Seoul Lotte Hotel - Myeongdong

When I heard that the plane was landing, I watched through the window. I only saw a airport, like in every city. I won't lie to you, this wasn't different from the french airports. But the feeling I had was different. "I am in Korea, finally". I was in Korea and I was so happy that the tears filled up my eyes. I know it's a little bit silly for some of you, but when you dream about seeing with your own eyes a country, when you finally get to do it, nothing could be better than this feeling. 

Yes... I had a blue plane !

Introducing the awesome FUN TEAM :D

In order for you to know better who I'm talking about, I'm going to introduce to you our Fun Team members ! I was lucky enough to spend 7 days and 6 nights with those awesome people and after a whole week together, it was so hard leaving them. We were so close :'( 

Pour que vous sachiez mieux de qui je parle dans mes prochains articles, je vais vous présentez mes camarades de la Fun Team ! J'ai été assez chanceuse pour passer 7 jours et 6 nuits en leur compagnie et après une semaine entière avec eux, c'était tellement dur de se séparer... On était si proche :'(

I'm sorry guys but I have to pack again to go (nearer this time) to Corsica (the island on the bottom of France) for my cousin's wedding :D Isn't it wonderful ? A wedding on a beach ? Waaaaww. 
So I don't know if I will be able to finish my post on the presentation of my amazing team members, but I will do my best to publish it before I return to Lyon next week :) 

Je suis désolé les amis mais je dois une fois de plus faire ma valise car je pars direction la Corse pour le mariage de ma cousine. Eh oui, si c'est pas magnifique un mariage sur la plage :D Wahhouuuu. 
Donc je sais pas si j'aurais le temps de finir l'article que j'ai commencé sur la présentation de mes fantastiques camarades de la Fun Team mais je ferais de mon mieux pour le poster avant mon retour sur Lyon la semaine prochaine :)

Happy birthday to the best leader ever : Ricky Kim !

Ok so little break in the blog (already ?) because of a special day ! Ok, this special day was actually yesterday but that's okay. You will forgive me right ? 

Ok, petite interlude du blog (déjà ?) pour la célébration d'un jour spécial ! Ok, c'était hier ce jour spécial mais c'est pas grave. Vous me pardonnez, non ?

So you have to know that on the trip, we had a team leader. And this awesome leader was Ricky Kim !!
Donc vous devez savoir que pendant le voyage, nous avions un leader de groupe. Et ce leader n'était autre que Ricky Kim !!

Don't tell me you don't know him, I know you know him, you must know him, don't you ? ㅠㅠ
Ne me dites pas que vous le connaissez pas, je sais que vous le connaissez, vous DEVEZ le connaitre... non ? ㅠㅠ

Before the trip - Touch Korea Tour

So, basically, I entered the video contest of Touch Korea Tour after finding out about it on allkpop (an awesome website to know the news about K-pop or Korean celebrities). 

After finding out, I was so excited to be able to participate. I was sure it was impossible for me to win but I had nothing to lose so I was like "Why not ? Just try!". And I talked about it to my close friend : Camille V.

She doesn't know anything about korean culture but she always listens to me when I want to talk about it. She knew how much this was important for me to win this contest and she kindly decided to help me with it. 

So we went in a famous park in Lyon to start filming my video for the contest. 
The concept was a parody of the variety show "Strong Heart", where korean celebrities tell a story about themselves. 
My show was called "Weak Heart" and I talked about how much I love korea and how much I wanted to go. 
With the huge help of Camille, I was selected among the 7 winners of the contest :D Yayyyyy !!
